Dr. Belmonte attended CSU Sacramento and earned her bachelor's degree in Biological Science in 1993. She then attended the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry and graduated in 1999. Dr. Belmonte returned to Sacramento where she has been in private practice for 19 years. She is Board certified in the treatment and management of ocular diseases and is experienced with treating dry eye, ocular allergy, trauma care, cataract, and refractive surgery management. Dr. Belmonte can also provide eye examinations in Spanish.
Dr. Espiritu received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, San Diego in 2000. She subsequently graduated from UC Berkeley School of Optometry in 2005 and completed her residency in pediatrics at the State University of New York in 2006. She has been in practice for 10 years in the Sacramento area. Her exam room is outfitted to examine infants, toddlers, and elementary school-age kids. She is trained to diagnose, treat and manage ocular diseases in both adults and children. Dr. Espiritu is highly skilled in fitting soft contacts, rigid permeable lenses, scleral lenses, and hybrid lenses for those with irregular corneas from corneal diseases.
